Delhi has some of the world's highest urban air pollution levels — AQI readings above 300 (Hazardous) are common from October to January. Most experienced dog walkers in Delhi now use AQI apps before morning walks and shorten outdoor time or reroute through lower-traffic zones when pollution is severe. Prolonged exposure to heavy particulate matter can worsen respiratory conditions in dogs, especially brachycephalic breeds.

In summer, the concrete-heavy surfaces of Delhi's urban neighbourhoods — road tar, cement pavements, building walls — retain heat and can raise pavement temperatures to 55–65°C on peak summer afternoons. Walking a dog on hot pavement can cause severe paw pad burns within 30 seconds. Our walkers are trained to walk only in shaded routes during summer mornings and to avoid midday walks entirely between April and June.

Each walk includes: a pre-walk health and temperament check, a GPS-tracked route, mid-walk photo update, post-walk paw cleaning (especially important in monsoon season), and a completion report with your dog's behaviour, elimination, and energy level.
